Travel Blog Review

With its gorgeous rainforests, magnificent cliffs, and 50 miles of pristine beaches, Kauai is a beautiful Hawaiian island that should not be missed. It is no surprise that Hollywood agrees—Kauai is the backdrop for many films including The Descendants, Jurassic Park, and Lilo and Stitch.

Kauai is the oldest island in Hawaii and has some of the most diverse landscapes in the state. There’s a little something for everyone on the island, whether it be the gorgeous beaches in the south shore, golfing in Princeville, or hiking through the great wonder of Hawaii, Waimea Canyon. Not to mention the plethora of exotic foliage and nature, which gave Kauai its moniker, “the Garden Isle.” Since only ten percent of the island is accessible by car, it’s best to explore the island through its many alternative land or water adventures: kayak down the Wailua River, zip line through the rainforest, or hike through Opaekaa Falls.
